For qualifying pool projects, the standard guarantee clock starts on excavation day. If construction is not completed by the applicable deadline because of a delay within FNC’s control, we will pay you $200 for each eligible day beyond that deadline, up to $3,000.

What “Completion” Means
Completion is reached when the contracted pool decking and interior finish are complete, the pool is filled, the circulation equipment is operating, and the pool is ready for safe, normal use. Minor punch-list items, touch-up, or warranty items that do not prevent safe, normal use will still be completed under the agreement or applicable warranty, but they do not postpone the completion milestone for purposes of this timeline guarantee.
Your 30–45-Day Construction Journey
Each qualifying project moves through a carefully coordinated sequence. While exact timing may vary by design and site conditions, every phase is planned before excavation to keep progress predictable and craftsmanship consistent.
The approved layout is marked, and the pool is excavated to its planned dimensions and elevations.
Steel reinforcement and underground plumbing lines are installed and prepared for required inspections.
Gunite creates the structural shell, followed by the required curing period.
Tile and coping are installed while plumbing is completed and circulation equipment is connected, in accordance with the approved selections.
The contracted pool deck is prepared and completed before the interior finish.
The finish is applied, the pool is filled, circulation begins, and the pool is prepared for normal use.
The applicable guarantee timeline pauses only when documented circumstances outside FNC’s reasonable control prevent meaningful progress. It resumes as soon as the condition is resolved and work can reasonably continue.
Unmarked or incorrectly located power, gas, water, sewer, or drainage lines requiring relocation
Ordinary scheduling, trade coordination, and project management remain FNC’s responsibility.
The standard 45-day guarantee is designed for pool and pool/spa construction. When a project includes additional outdoor-living structures, the timeline is adjusted in writing before construction so you know the applicable completion deadline from the start.

Projects that include an outdoor kitchen, cabana, pergola, pool house, bathroom, or other major outdoor-living improvement receive a 15-calendar-day extension to the standard 45-day deadline, unless a different completion period is clearly stated in the proposal and signed agreement. The project-specific written timeline controls, and guarantee compensation begins only after the applicable completion deadline.
Day 1 begins on excavation day, after design, engineering, required approvals, utility marking, material selections, and scheduling are complete. Preconstruction and permitting time are not part of the guaranteed construction window.

If a delay within FNC’s control causes completion to extend beyond the applicable guaranteed deadline, you will receive $200 for each eligible day, up to $3,000. The compensation will be credited against the final invoice. If it exceeds the remaining balance, FNC will pay the difference within 10 business days after the pool reaches completion.
The clock pauses only for documented conditions outside FNC’s reasonable control that prevent meaningful progress. Examples include excessive rain or unsafe site conditions, natural disasters, governmental or utility delays, material shortages, unmarked utility lines requiring relocation, and unforeseen underground conditions. The clock resumes when the condition is resolved and work can reasonably continue. Ordinary scheduling and trade coordination remain FNC’s responsibility.
Projects that include an outdoor kitchen, cabana, pergola, pool house, bathroom, or similar outdoor-living improvement receive a 15-calendar-day extension to the standard 45-day deadline. The resulting deadline is normally 60 days unless a different construction period is clearly stated in the proposal and signed agreement.
Yes. Customer-requested change orders, late payments, financing delays, delayed selections or approvals, and restricted site access may pause or extend the timeline. Any additional time will be documented, and the project-specific written timeline will control.
